The last LaFerrari coupe ever made crossed the auction block December 3, setting records and raising some $7 million for charity.

The Florida sale was held by Ontario-based RM Sotheby’s in conjuction with Ferrari to help raise money for the National Italian American Foundation’s Earthquake Relief Fund.

The bidding war for the 949-hp hypercar lasted some 10 minutes before crowning at $7 million US, setting a new record for most expensive 21st-century car sold at auction.
