Arnold Schwarzenegger recently took the wraps off the latest conversion he’s commissioned from Kreisel Electric, a battery-powered Hummer H1 delivered mid-September.

The off-road prototype was developed in just two months and boasts a 100-kWh capacity, courtesy the company’s high-performance battery technology. That translates into roughly 489 horsepower total out of the front and rear electric motors, and a battery range of about 300 km (186 miles).

That’s not bad at all, considering the former military vehicle still weighs 3,300 kg (7,275 lbs) but can top out at 120 km/h (75 mph).

The unveiling took place in Upper Austria, at Kreisel’s new manufacturing facility, where it hopes to put to work some 200 employees in 2018.

The company previously converted one of Schwarzenegger’s Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUVs to electric power as well.
