Mazda is finally manufacturing a new once-piece removable hardtop for its MX-5 convertible—but it’ll only be for sale to Cup racers, and at a hefty cost of $4,420, reports Autoblog.

Its sharp looks and lightweight design will prove alluring to hard-core Miata loyalists; and given that Mazda Motorsports will only sell its new cap to those who purchase a brand-new MX-5 Cup Global race car, we suspect it could become a hot second-hand item.

Those who love the idea of driving a hardtop MX-5 need not despair—Mazda sells a handsome auto-retracting hardtop-convertible dubbed the MX-5 RF, currently available for sale in Canada starting at $38,800.
