Ford has designed a crib that replicates the sensory experience of riding in a car with the intention of lulling babies to sleep, reports Business Insider.

The one-off “Motor Dreams” crib was created by Ford in collaboration with Spanish company Espadaysantacruz Studio for use in an ad campaign for its Max vehicle.

This gearhead’s dream-crib comes replete with speakers that envelop its occupant with engine sounds, an electric motor that moves the bed to mimic driving in traffic, and an LED lighting kit that emulates passing street lights.

The crib’s car-enthusiast owners can look forward to a good night’s rest as they remotely control the functions of the sleep pen with a smartphone app.

Ford is reportedly thinking about mass-producing its car ride-themed crib, though its first example will be given away as a raffle prize.
