A leisurely open-top drive turned tragic after a farmer unintentionally covered a 52-year-old father and his 14-year-old daughter in a thick layer of liquefied manure, reports Metro.

The father was driving his daughter in his Renault Megane convertible along a rural road near Munich, Germany at the time of the incident, when the farmer pulling a load of manure inadvertently swerved, causing the load to shift and spill over the edge of his trailer, into the open-top car.

The convertible was reportedly a write-off due to irreversible damage to the interior upholstery and electronics.

Fortunately, neither the father nor his daughter were injured in the incident, though we’re pretty sure they were left at least a little traumatized by their unsavoury experience.
