The 1996 BMW 750iL rap artist Tupac Shakur was shot in has popped up for sale after changing hands between the Las Vegas Police Department, private owners, and a souvenir shop by the name of Moments In Time.

The asking price of $1.5 million US ($2.0 million Canadian) greatly eclipses the $337,114 sale price of Tupac’s customized Hummer SUV, which sold last May, reports The Truth About Cars.

Tupac was severely injured in the BMW during a drive-by shooting that took place September 7, 1996 in Las Vegas; he died in hospital several says later after succumbing to his injuries.

The vehicle has been restored save for interior damage caused by the flying bullets.
