Ah, the family sedan. Affordable, efficient, powerful, nicely equipped, and spacious enough for, well, a family. So the theory once went, but families – along with every other type of buyer – are increasingly interested in compact and midsize crossovers, and increasingly less interested in family sedans. But how bad is it? After declining sharply for years, the rate at which Canadians are turning away from midsize sedans is actually growing more noticeable.
