Following a complete redesign in 2011, the 2012 Odyssey remains fairly the same, aside from a few minor updates to standard equipment. For 2012, Honda upped the amount of standard tech on the base-level EX Odyssey with the addition of a multi-information display with 8-inch screen, Bluetooth phone and audio streaming, and a USB input.

In EX trim, the Odyssey expands its interior capacity and list of features, such as power-sliding side doors, heated outside mirrors, automatic headlights, tri-zone automatic climate control, a removable front center console, a multi-adjustable second-row seat, retractable and second-row sunshades.

The 3.5-litre, 248-horsepower V6 engine is standard across the Odyssey lineup, along with a five-speed automatic, however top-trim Touring and Touring Elite Odysseys get the more economical six-speed automatic transmissions.
