I got the car bug early – Hot Wheels and model cars (still build ’em) – and never grew out of it. I picked up on muscle cars and hot rods quickly, and fell in love with the Plymouth Duster and Mopar at 16.
I moved to Toronto to study at York University, and in 2010 piloted their newspaper, the Excalibur; around the same time, I landed an internship with the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada, and then began freelancing.
I’m happiest writing about car culture and the people in it, but news and reviews are fun. I recently bought a 1971 Plymouth Scamp, and I have to say it’s the best stupid decision I’ve ever made.
