Matt writes about cars for a living, absurd as that may sound to some. He writes about other things occasionally, but keeps returning to cars because he can’t help it: he loves them.
Besides being a correspondent here at Autofocus, Matt is currently a columnist and feature writer for the Globe and Mail’s Drive section; and automotive editor at Sharp magazine. His work has also appeared in the Toronto Star, Autoweek magazine, and other fine places.
Incredibly, Matt gets to drive exotic cars in beautiful places just to write about the experience! One day it’s a V12 Ferrari in northern Italy, for example; the next it’s an Aston Martin in Scotland; a Land Rover on a glacier in Iceland; or a new McLaren at some racetrack in Spain.
Matt realizes this may be the last good job in the world. Thanks for reading.
